Alfred Hitchcock
Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock was an English film maker and producer throughout the 20th century. After a successful career in England with silent films he moved to Hollywood. By which he created many films that ended as a twist and thrilling plots featuring violence, crime and murders with his distinctive and recognisable directorial styles and techniques.
Alfred discovered and found new ways of moving around the camera to interact with audience and framed shots to maximise anxiety, fear, empathy and used innotive film editing.
He directed over 50 films over the period of 6 decades. He has been regarded as the best british filmmaker and has won awards due to being seen as not just a great director, but a director that has shaped modern cinema like no other director, which could be argued that it would be much different without him.
